VyprVPN service provider offers top-notch services to their users. It has everything – fast server and connection speeds, great performance as well as a nice and friendly customer support. Moreover, it has its own DNS, Chameleon encryption protocol and offers multiple other protocols to choose from. We decided to try out VyprVPN for the day to see how it operates and is it as fast as it claims to be. We also tried to access a few of the streaming services with it, so read further to find out more and see how Vypr worked for us.
Even though the installation is extremely easy, as it only took a few clicks, the process itself took a bit longer than we expected. What is great with the software is that it is quite easy to use and it shows both the upload and the download speeds when you’re using the VPN. It also shows your current IP address (with or without the VPN), connection time as well as the protocol and encryption used. Moreover, the main window shows whether the NAT firewall is enabled (NAT provides an additional layer of security).
The speed was varying – one second it was over 8Mb/s, the other it was 400Kb/s. As the speed was somewhat random, webpages took a bit to load. Sometimes the websites would load in an instant, sometimes it would take a few moments. YouTube videos also took some time to load and sometimes we even had to pause the video, as it buffered a bit. But in general, the speeds were good except that they were not very stable. Also, a few times the VPN disconnected on us, but no big deal.
Not many VPN service providers can still access Netflix and a few other streaming services, but VyprVPN loaded Netflix very fast. We checked out a few TV shows and episodes, tried to test if works with strictly American content and everything went great. The episodes were loading very fast, maybe even faster than YouTube videos.
Another streaming service that we checked was Hulu, which is strictly restricted only to the residents of the US. VyprVPN worked flawlessly with Hulu as well. The connection speed was stable and loaded various shows quickly and without a problem.
VyprVPN service provider has more than 700 servers and offers unlimited switches, data and speed to its users. Moreover, customer support is 24x7x365 and it is fast, effective and friendly. Furthermore, VyprVPN, as it was mentioned before, is known for its great and strong encryption, also, it allows up to 5 simultaneous connections. Vypr offers a decent pricing plan and if you don’t like the offered services, you can get your money back in 30 days from the purchase of the subscription plan.
While in general we liked Vypr’s services and that it let us access Netflix and Hulu, choose between different protocols and more, the overall speed was our biggest issue. The connections weren’t as stable as we thought it would be because it disconnected a few times. Furthermore, the speed was varying and not entirely reliable, but maybe it was just not that good of a day for VyprVPN.
